Canadian County Jail Roster Overview
The Canadian County inmate search is run on the Canadian County Sheriff's Office website. The sheriff states that the roster shows people in custody, booking dates, charges, and added information. The page sorts bookings by booking date and gives a name filter for specific searches. Page metadata says the inmate search is updated hourly, so a new booking may not appear until intake and the next refresh are complete.
The roster covers the Canadian County Jail. It does not cover sentenced ODOC prisoners at Union City Community Corrections Center, federal prisoners at FCI El Reno, federal pretrial custody under the U.S. Marshals, or people moved into ICE custody. Those records use separate state or federal lookup systems. VINELink can be used for custody notification, and the Canadian County OK Sheriff app also advertises inmate search as a mobile option.
Use the Canadian County Inmate Roster
The roster works best when the search starts with the person's name and then moves into the booking profile. The visible page did not show a booking-number search box. It uses booking cards and profile links tied to BookingID values. If a result is expected but not found, check spelling, search fewer name parts, and remember that releases move off the current list.
- Open the sheriff's current inmate-search page.
- Type a name in the "Search by Name..." field, or scan recent booking cards if the booking is new.
- Use pagination controls when the person is not on the first set of booking cards.
- Open the booking card to view the profile, photo status, identifiers, booking date, charges, deposit buttons, and VINE link.
- Check the released-inmates page if the person left custody in the last 72 hours.
- Call the jail or use the Records Division for older records, unclear names, or record copies.
Canadian County Roster Search Fields
The Canadian County roster has a simple public search interface. It does not require an account. The captured page showed a name field, pagination, and clickable booking-card profiles. Behind the page, the public API returned 25 records per page and 180 in-custody booking records on June 25, 2026.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search by Name... | Text input | No | Single visible filter box. No wildcard or minimum-character rule was found. |
| Pagination | Click controls | No | First, previous, page number, next, and last controls. |
| Booking card link | Clickable result | n/a | Opens `inmate.php?BookingID=[BookingID]` for the public profile. |
The current inmate-search interface shows the name filter, booking cards, mugshot space, VINE graphic, and page controls.
The roster screenshot shows why name spelling and pagination matter: records are presented as booking cards rather than one dense table.
Canadian County Inmate Profile Fields
A Canadian County inmate profile is more detailed than the first roster card. The inspected profile and API showed identifiers, demographic fields, a booking photo when one exists, a booking date and time, charge descriptions, and action buttons. It did not visibly show every field sometimes found in other jail systems, such as height, weight, detailed bond by charge, housing unit, court date, judge, or projected release date.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| BookingID | Internal booking identifier used in the profile URL. |
| InmateID | Person-level jail identifier used on the profile and VINE link. |
| BookingNum | Booking number for that custody event. |
| BookingDate | Date and time displayed on the public profile. |
| Name and demographics | Name, sex, race, ethnicity, age, and residing city when present. |
| Pic | Photo filename used for the booking mugshot, or a no-image placeholder when empty. |
| Charges | Charge descriptions shown as profile text, not proof of conviction. |
| Deposit and VINE buttons | Routes to JailATM/commissary and custody notification tools. |
Canadian County Released Inmate Records
The sheriff's released-inmates page lists people released within the last 72 hours and sorts them by release date. The feed fields include booking number, booked date, released date, arresting agency, bail amount, and reason released. Local release reasons in the feed included Bail Bond, Cash Bond, Own Recognizance, HOLD DROPPED, TOT OTHER AGENCY, ENTERED PLEA, WEEKEND SERVED, and CHARGES DECLINED BY DA.
These release fields are helpful, but they still do not replace the court record. A "charges declined" release reason shows why jail charges must be checked against the court case after prosecutor review. For charges filed after booking, use the Oklahoma State Courts Network and the Canadian County Court Clerk.
Canadian County Booking Process
Canadian County's official sources do not publish a full booking manual, but the roster and jail records show the practical flow. A person is arrested or transferred by an agency, received at the jail, matched to or assigned an Inmate ID, photographed when a booking photo is taken, entered with demographics and charges, and then placed into the custody system. The API includes a classification field, and the inspected sample showed Medium Security.
The jail page says the facility contracts with a private medical vendor that provides daily medical services, a full-time nurse, doctor access for regular visits, and primary mental-health services. After booking, first appearance, bond decisions, prosecutor review, and court filing can change the case path. Charges on the jail profile are booking or arrest charges and can differ from the formal charges filed by the District Attorney.
- Booking
- The jail intake record created after arrest or transfer into custody.
- Inmate ID
- A person-level jail identifier that can be tied to notification tools.
- Detainer
- A hold or notice from another agency that can block release even after local bond is posted.
- Classification
- A custody-management assignment based on security risk and needs.
Canadian County Jail Visitation Rules
Family and friend visits at the Canadian County Jail are remote video visits through Prodigy. The sheriff's visitation and mail page states that visitation privileges are available to all inmates, but they can be restricted for misconduct or jail security. The jail also has distinct attorney-visit rules that require advance scheduling through Judicial Services at least 24 hours ahead.
| Item | Rule / Schedule |
|---|---|
| Vendor | Prodigy Solutions through prodigysales.com. |
| Remote blackout | No remote visits 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. |
| Remote blackout | No remote visits 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
| Remote blackout | No remote visits 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. |
| Age rule | Visitors must be at least 18 or have a parent or legal guardian present. |
| Attorney visits | Schedule through Judicial Services at 405-295-6216 or 405-434-2829. |
Canadian County Jail Records Requests
Older booking records, arrest reports, incident reports, and mugshot copies use the sheriff Records Division when the public roster does not show what is needed. The Records Requests page explains open-record requests and fee categories. The 2026 request form says records produced by the Sheriff's Office are available for in-person pickup only, and it says not to send money before the office gives fee notice and an exact amount.
| Record Item | Fee / Rule |
|---|---|
| Copy fee | $0.25 per page. |
| Research fee | $20.00 per hour when applicable and authorized. |
| Audio/video media | $5.00 per DVD or USB. |
| Pickup | Produced records are picked up in person only. |
The sheriff's records page shows Records Division contacts, request-form access, and the fee schedule.
The in-person pickup rule is a key Canadian County detail because it affects how users request older inmate records or booking-photo copies.
Canadian County State and Federal Lookup
When a person is not in the Canadian County Jail roster, the next search depends on custody type. Sentenced state inmates are searched through OK Offender Lookup. Federal inmates are searched through the BOP Inmate Locator. ICE custody is searched through the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Oklahoma VINE at VINELink is available for custody-status notifications.
| Custody | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| County jail | Canadian County inmate search | Current local custody at the sheriff's jail. |
| State prison | OK Offender Lookup | Sentenced ODOC custody and supervision records. |
| Federal prison | BOP Inmate Locator | Federal inmates from 1982 to present. |
| Immigration custody | ICE Online Detainee Locator | Current ICE custody and CBP custody held more than 48 hours. |
Canadian County Jail Contact
Use the jail phone for custody questions and the Records Division for copies or older records. Public office hours for the sheriff's county listing are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but the jail is a 24-hour custody operation. Confirm counter access before traveling.
