Information You Enter
Search Terms
When a visitor types a name, location, or similar detail into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Canadian County Inmate Population does not keep its own stored log of those search terms.
Messages
If you email us or submit a message, we use the information in that message to review and respond. We do not share contact messages outside our organization unless a legal requirement, subpoena, court order, or similar lawful demand requires it.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site may collect routine technical information when a page loads or when a visitor moves through the site.
- IP address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on those pages.
- Referring website, when one is provided.

Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site use, measure traffic, support advertising, and keep pages working correctly. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may behave differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used
- To keep the site available, usable, and reasonably fast.
- To send search requests to the correct partner service.
- To understand which Canadian County jail, court, DOC, BOP, ICE, and VINE pages visitors find useful.
- To detect errors, abuse, security issues, and broken links.
- To display advertising that may be based on interests or general browsing context.
Outside Links and Ads
The site links to sheriff pages, jail rosters, Oklahoma Department of Corrections resources, federal and immigration locators, court portals, VINELink, app stores, and third-party search tools. After you leave this site, the privacy policy of that outside website controls how your data is handled.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or tracking technology to show interest-based ads or measure performance across websites. That activity happens on the partner's systems, not as a record hosted by Canadian County Inmate Population.

- Advertising networks used to place or measure ads.
- Law-enforcement agencies, courts, or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational practices to protect information handled through the site. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed breach-proof, so we cannot promise absolute security.
